Smudge it out F.O.T.D

Blend Blend Blend

I did this super simple look using only 2 shadows . It has been given a modern touch by having a light brow.
I am loving the whole balanced look right now. It may seem a little odd as for years everyone has strived for that beauty perfection look with the perfect brows ,eyes, cheeks and lips. Now however it's time for the quirky unusal beauty to shine through.

I've had blonde brows my whole life and for the 1st time in about 12 yrs I haven't felt desperately like I needed to fill them in darker when I wear make-up.It's a flippin revolution!

Fair brows are cool so to all those who thought I was the unpretty, odd looking one at school 2 words...JOG ON! :)

Products used

Eyes
  • Barry M No89
  • Stila Onyx
  • M.A.C Kid
  • M.A.C No.7 lashes
Face
  • M.A.C Face and body
  • Myface Costa del soul blush
Lips
  • Bobbi Brown - lip crayon in Dusty Coral

How to do it

  • Apply the Barry M pigment all over the lid only using Medusa make-up brush

  • Buff a matte eyeshadow into the crease, try get it to be a shade darker than your skin. I used M.A.C s kid with a 224 brush

  • Using my Stila eyeliner i jotted a line on the upper, lower and waterline.

  • Get an angled brush and dip into the Barry M shadow and trace along the upper and lower lashline. Blending into the eyeliner.

  • With another angled brush use a matte black eyeshadow and place along the upper lashline to deepen the colour and set the liner.

  • *OPTIONAL* Apply the same shadow on the waterline (this will make the eyeliner last longer)
  • Apply M.A.C N0.7 lashes and thats it.

  4. @zsor Hiya, if you have naturally dark or thick brows the only thing you can do to lighten them is a mild bleach which is suitable for the face. I would go to a salon to get it done as they will do a patch test first to make sure you don't have a reaction.
If you dont like it you could get them to tint them darker.

A product won't lighten the brows up, the only thing you could do is blank them out but its really hard and time consumming and won't last very long.

Hope this helped a little xx

  6. @lady danger Yeah it's a very unusual pigment one of those that changes in the light. Don't worry come autumn lovely dark brows will be the best thing ever and light brows will be long forgotten :) xx

  7. What color would you say the Barry M pigment is? If it was a MAC or NYX shadow what would it be?
