Today I chose a smokey look with oranges and burgundy
I decided to use my Sue Moxley "famous" palette as I haven't used it in ages and I thought I would introduce some of you to a brand you may never of heard of or seen and not tried.
The brand
Sue Moxley Famous
Palette names
Tinsel Town
Broadway
Prices
£14.00 per palette
My opinion
My honest thoughts on this are that I think it's a little overpriced being in a drugstore, don't get me wrong some of the shadows are very well pigmented and velvety however a few are barely visible unless you pack it onto a base.
At £14.00 a pop I would want more shades maybe smaller sizes to accommodate the price as to be fair each colour is quite large compared to a M.A.C eyeshadow just say but every shadow is the same there's no option of finish as they're all velvet.
My favourite palette from the ones above is Broadway, the colours are so intense and bright. The yellow is highly pigmented and definately packs a punch.
The products
Sue Moxley produces Eyeshadow quads, single eyeshadows, blushers, lip/eye pencils gloss etc...
There's an array of candy coloured products enough to whet the make-up appetite but be prepared to spend quite a bit of your money.
Behind Sue Moxley
Sue Moxley the lady behind the brand started her career as a model at the tender age of 16 and realised her passion for make-up while being made up all around the world.
She decided to leave modelling and pursue a career as a make-up artist which then led her to developing this brand.
Named "famous" she designed the brand for all those who wanted to feel glamorous with out the designer price tag.
My look
So I used the champagne colour on the inner corner with the orange on the middle of the lid and the burgundy on the outer corner.
In my crease I applied matte colours KID and Embark by M.A.C and followed them under the lower lashline.
I applied a little of the burgundy in the crease over the embark for a slight glimmer and this is how it turned out.
What do you lot think?
What's on your lips? The whole look is lovely
