I really do! well those of the nail varnish kind
This gorgeous polish is by Essie to me it's a fuchsia purple and always gets compliments.
This is definately in my top 5 nail polishes as I can wear it summer or winter and looks good on all skin colours.
I paid around $7-$8 in Miami
This is from the Neon collection brought out 2 years ago
This is a difficult nail polish to wear if you haven't properly prepped the nail bed before applying.
This requires a neat nails, healthy cuticles and a buffed nail bed. I D.I.Y my manicures and after shaping and trimming my cuticles I use a 6 way buffer to remove ridges and create a shiny smooth surface ready for the colour.
This also reminds me, you most definately need to apply a base coat (i love No7's) The reason being is it goes on rather streaky and uneven. Also these brighter colours can stain the nail which to me is always unsightly.
Look at the picture below you can see how unattractive it looks ◘
Preparation is the key!
Make sure you apply 2 coats to ensure the colour is bright and streak free then wait a while and pop a top coat to finish. To me this stage is essential as it provides extra protection from chipping and best of all gives an amazing shine.
Take a look at this, I used Nina Pro top coat available at Sally's beauty supplies.
It changes the whole look of the colour!
I have been wearing this 6 days and is only chipping now
Do you love bright nail polish or do you stick to the natural look ?
