Getting graphic with Illamasqua

My recent trip to the Illamasqua event lead me to meet the amazingly talented  make-up artist Alex Box.
Whilst talking to her I noticed her eyeliner, I loved that look on the runway but have never seen anyone wear it for an everyday look.
Alex's was a less dramatic version of mine, I just used hers as a little inspiration.
I didn't want to be weird and stare at her face because I hate it when people do that, so I took a five second mental note of the shape and stored it for this look.

It's not perfect but I didn't care as it was the first time I had used the liquid pen

The line extends into the crease from the winged corner, although you can't see very well I have pulled this down under the lower lashes too.

It is wearable but for the daring, I think this is a bit hard core for some.

I have paired it with pink cheeks and lip

What you need

Liquid liner - (Illamasqua precision ink)
Girl about town lipstick by MAC

So go get arty with your make-up, what you waiting for!

  1. LOVE this Carly! Saw the video this morning and loved it :) I want to give it a try. Haha did you actually use the precision ink for the moustache? Good luck getting that off ;P hope you haven't got to go anywhere with that on your face! xxx

  7. This is awesome! My unsteady hand to beat all unsteady hands will have a go at this tonight. Bet it'll look like a couple wonky lines and a blob of something unspeakable...but I'll keep trying!

  9. Such a great look that I'll definitely try. I love black liner and was getting a tad bored with the usual flicks.

Your last photo with the mustache's hilarious :D I went dressed as a pirate/Jack Sparrow once with dreadlocks and everything, but was too scared to draw hairy male things on my face, lol.
