My M.A.C V festival look

V festival is now over but I wanted to show some of the looks M.A.C had created especially for the event. It's fair to say anything goes as long as it's fun and different.

M.A.C had a pro team at the Louder Lounge where V.I.P guests and celebs could go and get their make-up done. Not everyone chose these artistic faces, many celebs went with a smokey eye.

The image that I wanted to re-create was a more wearable one...well kinda.
I was drawn in by the red lips and eyeliner. Very quirky and edgy!

M.A.C's look

The red eyeliner was easy to do and left a nice finish. I mixed a loose red pigment by M.A.C with my Illamasqua sealer.

I mixed a few drops of the sealer with the pigment to create a paste then applied with an angled brush.

Lips were done using a lipbrush and Prestige wild flame lipstick.

I think full lashes are key to this as it just leave a hint of the red at the outer and inner corners which is cute.

I also love the 1st look which I think was done using 3d glitter. I may try it one day!

  4. i love the red!!
i have noticed your nails in you vlogs and blogs & i was wondering if you could provide some advice on shaping one's nails as i have a terrible time getting the right edges (corners) they are either to oval or too square which leads to either hideous looking or broken nails. Yours always have the perfect shape.
