Olivia Palermo is known for being a star in the City and a style icon to many (including me)
I feel like we have similar style and taste in clothes, the cost of them...well not so similar but I love how she will wear her outfits more than once but switch it up so a blouse with shorts one day and then the same one with tailored trousers another.
I like a style that is tailored and relaxed at the same time.
TIP#
Mix slouchy knits with structured trousers and dresses and you have a winning ensemble.
It's not only her style that is admired, her hair and make-up is equally as stunning.
I have never seen that darn hair out of place!
I was asked agggges ago to do the City and Hills make-up, some of them are boring but the one that I thought was going to be most worn and will suit everyone is Olivia's.
3 Key points to her look
- Fresh even base (foundation)
- Rosey cheeks
- Heavy eyeliner on the upper lashline.
Moi look
Not many steps and few products, to be honest you could probably get away with not wearing eyeshadow.
I used this look without eyeshadow to go out for bank holiday, I have the pictures in my INOA post.
What I used
Eyes
- Coastal scents 78 palette
- M.A.C fluidline
- Adrell wispies
- Benefit pose benetint
- Benefit pose benetint
- Grimas Rose lipgloss
What I'm wearing
Floral dress-Asda George
Boots-River Island
Bag-Gucci

ReplyDeleteThank you hun x
I have that dress! £5 in the sale? Bargain, I've got so much wear out of it already :)
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful as always xx
I personally think she's a bit over rated, don't you think she's put her blusher way too high in that first pic? Anyway you look stunning either way x
ReplyDeleteI love this look and I agree with you in that this look works for day and night. I have two questions. Is it easier to line your upper lash line with the brush you used in the tutorial in comparison to a regular eye liner brush? I find it very difficult to line my upper lash line and usually it ends up being thicker than I wanted it to be. Also, do you know of a good eye primer for dry skin or eyelids (or paint pot) that will not cause creasing? Because I have dry skin I tend to over do it with the moisturiser and in turn my eye shadows crease a lot. Thank you so much for all your tips and help =)
ReplyDeletefab look!
ReplyDeletei always thought olivia came across as a b i a t c h in the city until i read an interview with her in one of the latest editions of asos magazine in which she came across really normal and down to earth. i still hate her a little bit though, only because of jealousy lol xx
Love Olivia's make-up, gorgeous look! x

She is so pretty, makes me turn into a green eyed monster out of jealousy. The look you created is so simple and pretty, I'm going to give this ago :)
