So I was sent some goodies by Illamasqua, I was extra excited as they arrived on my birthday :)
The package included the nail polish Jo'Mina which I have fallen in love with which I will definately blog about and also the Liquid metal in Surge.
This is one of those multi use products as you can use this on the eyes, highlighting the features of the face, collar bone and legs. However the Illamasqua website does state state that this product isn't for the lips.
Price:-
£17.00 price per 10g £21.25
NET WT. 8g/0.28ozWhat is it?
A very pigmented soft creamy eyeshadow
How to use it?
I used it with my fingertips, it applied beautifully and covered well. You can of course use a brush but make sure it is a synthetic brush like a M.A.C 242. It will go on smoother than a natural hair brush and also is easier to clean which helps!
My look
I contrasted the silver with a deep purple and gave it a lilac lip.
I put the Liquid metal onto a bare lid (no base) then placed some eyeshadow on top.
I had it on for hours and it actually didn't crease but I know it works differently on everyone though as everyone's skin is different.
Other colours available
Phenomena- a silver
Enrapture- a bronze
Solstice-a gold
Pro's
Very smooth, highly pigmented and easy to apply.
Cons
Is known to crease and wear off, quite pricey.
Overall I like this product, I feel it will last a while however I'm not sure if I would re-purchase as it is a little expensive.
This is ideal for my kit as it can be used in alot of different ways.
