Review - Nivea Pure and Natural

For me Nivea is a brand that I feel familiar with, it was the first ever moisturiser I used. I remember the hype when the Nivea Soft came out then again with the Manish Arora!
I will admit I am fickle when it come to packaging so got excited by this collaboration as Arora has fantastic imagination.

This new range is free from Parabens, Silicones, Colourants and Mineral Oils and 95% of the ingredients are of natural origin.

Having trialled these for over a month now I feel I can give a fair review of each product. Although this is a sponsored post it does NOT change my opinions towards what I used and I'm only going to write honestly.

On to the products

Price £3.36
  • Personally I found this was just like other cream cleansers I have tried. It has a fresh scent and may benefit those with sensitive skin but for me this is a product I wouldn't need to purchase. It has soothing ingredients such as Aloe Vera so I feel it would be good for holidays.

 Price £8.49
  • This surprised me the most out of all the range, it doesn't have that "Nivea" scent and doesn't apply thick then rub in a little watery.  I was expecting a very thin moisturiser with a high water content that does nothing for my skin. Instead this felt rich but not heavy in the least. I have been using it on my neck, chest and face and can see and feel a difference. Now it's not a hugely noticeable difference however the texture is softer and feels hydrated even hours after applying. Since using this I haven't had any reactions or blocked pores and it didn't make my eyes water as some creams can. For the price this is a fantastic buy, it absolutely compares with my Elizabeth Arden moisturiser that I paid quite a bit for.
 Price £5.10
  • As It would have been ineffective to trail two moisturisers at once I gave the day cream for normal to combination skin to my partner to try. Working outside I thought it would give the cream a thorough test plus I wanted a mans point of view. He told me it had a nice fragrance however he had to apply alot to get that moisturised feeling. During the trial he didn't have any reactions or get any blocked pores from the cream. It's fair price but I think there's other day creams available that are more moisturising.

 Price £1.99

  • This lipbalm is gorgeous even Cleopatra would be proud of this one with it's milk, honey, Shea butter and Jojoba oil ingredients. I can't say more than I love this product really. Highly recommendable and a brilliant price, I also favour this item after reading the Shea Butter contains several natural moisturisers that are similar to the ones produced by the Sebaceous Glands . These are the glands in our skin that secrete our natural oils (sebum).
 Price £3.05
  • Instantly moisturising this hand cream is a thick hydrating product that is nothing like any of the other Nivea hand creams I have tried. The fragrance is fresh and it works into the skin quickly without leaving a watery residue. The Argan Oil is definitely playing a large part in all the products, the protection against free radicals is a real bonus as I feel we neglect our hands when they are almost always exposed.I became a little addicted to applying this as my hands were feeling very tight due to central heating and the snow. It relieved any dryness and never once felt greasy, 2 very moisturised thumbs up!

There's more products in the range including a body cream (which I'm hoping is very creamy) a toner and more moisturisers. Overall I like the range there's more items that I like than I didn't really care for. I will continue to use my Top Picks as they really did make a difference.

"In line with the contents NIVEA Pure & Natural cartons include the FSC logo, signifying recycled,

sustainable materials and responsible forestry management. NIVEA has also downsized the containers

to ensure they take up as little space as possible reducing the number of transport journeys required.

The Visage products are available in glass packaging for easy recycling, as well as ditching additional

cellophane packaging and unnecessary labels."

Discalimer-This was a sponsered post as part of a month long trial using all of the above products
