Catwalk Copycat - Dior S/S 2011

Washing away the misery of this Winter weather I have been transporting my self in make-up form to sunnier climbs.
Next season sees some predictable and new make-up up trends, I am in love with this look created by my favourite woman (besides my mother of course) legendary Pat McGrath.

Her inspiration was POP ART and BETTIE PAGE, uniting a beautiful vintage style with bright clashing hues.

Everything about this combination is fun and totally bonkers, who else would have had this vision?

In the top image my make-up looks a little more muted than it was in reality, the lips were definitely more prominent but here is a close up of the eye which looks a little brighter.

Products used
Eyes
  • Vaseline
  • M.A.C electric coral pigment
  • Illamasqua precision ink
Lips
  • Bourjois rouge fashion lipstick
  • Pure lipgloss in orange
  • Prestige amore lipliner
Face
  • Bobbi Brown pan stick foundation warm natural and warm sand.
  • M.A.C Well Dressed Blush
Alternative
Try Barry M's vibrant pigment shades as an alternative to the gloss, wear acid greens with tangerine lips or try bright purple with pillar box red lips.

#Tip
Keep the rest of the face flawless, don't apply foundation to heavy the look needs a fresh healthy appearance with minimal blush if any.

Would you wear this look?
