What a Peach

Sleek Make-up have pushed against the norm when it comes to creating a Spring collection. Hues of gentle pinks, blues and greens are instantly associated with Spring and Easter time.

Sleek Make-up have chosen firery oranges and I absolutely heart them. What makes it great is theres light and dark shades so that you can create a number of complete looks from one palette.
Peaches and Oranges are colours that look great on most people and with the warmer weather coming these shades are going to be perfect.

The shades

Keep reading for swatches and pictures...

  Swatches

This is the top line of shades from the palette which as you can see are the shimmer finish eyeshadows so have a lighter payoff. These look great on the middle of the lid and inner corner.

These are the matte shades from the lower line of colours. These are very intense and I'm in love with Persimmon and Bittersweet.

I already had make-up on when I did this swatch so decided to draw an eye on my arm and show where I would use certain colours for a subtle smokey look. Its crazy but I did it.

The PARAGUAYA i-DIVINE 12 piece eyeshadow palette is £6.49 and part of the Avoir la Peche collection which also contains a beautiful peach lipbalm and blush.

Pout Polish in Sugar May

This Pout Polish is enriched with Jojoba, Avocado and Sweet Almond Oil - Yummy! but it also has the added benefits of SPF 15 so your lips feel soft, look great and are protected. I must say I already own a Pout Polish in pink by Sleek Makeup and they're lovely and work so well. £4.29

PAN-TAO Blush
The PAN-TAO blush is a bright Orange shade that blends into a gentle peach but is also buildable so if you have dark skin this will still show. Being matte makes it quite pigmented so apply little and build from that, this looks great on the high point of the cheekbone for an exotic summer feel. £4.29

The Avoir la Pêche collection is available now for a limited time. Get it at Superdrug nationwide and online at www.sleekmakep.com until the 13th April 2011. BTW 13 April is my Birthday just so you know :)

I will create a look using the palette as I have a few in mind since orange is my favourite colour.

Are you peachy keen?

  2. I love peachy shades for spring summer, and I also love that the blush is matte! So many drug store blushers seem to be full of shimmers. I can't wait to try these for myself, thanks!

  5. I really wish we had access to sleek here in Canada. I am in love with the colours in that palette. The corals and oranges are so hot for summer. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

  6. Oh wow those are gorgeous. I have fair skin and really dark eyes/hair, so I don't know how peaches/oranges would look on me. I love peach blushers but sometimes I feel like I can't pull off the eyeshadow without pairing it with green. Would you mind doing a video tutorial for a summer orange makeup with this? xxxxxxxx
